Steps and timeframes related to the selection process
The following general indicative steps and timeframes apply to the selection process for staff vacancies.

Short-listed candidates are contacted:

• Up to 3 months after the closing date for an international staff vacancy
• 1 month after the closing date for a local staff vacancy

Interviews are held:

• Within 1 month of contacting short-listed candidates for an international staff vacancy
• 2 to 4 weeks after contacting short-listed candidates for a local staff vacancy

Please note that in addition to interviews, as part of the selection process candidates for international staff vacancies are normally required to present a seminar on a topic identified by the Organization. Candidates for local staff vacancies are normally required to undergo preliminary selective tests before the interview.

Notification of the outcome of the selection process:

• For both international and local staff vacancies this would normal occur within 1 month after the interview.
