Distribution Policy
Bioversity International distributes its publications free of charge on first release to a selected mailing list. To maximize audience and availability, we aim to place material in the libraries of national programmes, genebanks, university departments, research institutions, etc.
Bioversity International makes every effort to provide publications free of charge, particularly to organizations working with biodiversity in the developing world. Developing-country individuals and institutions working in agricultural research can request copies of Bioversity publications by sending an e-mail to bioversity-publications@cgiar.org, giving the titles, authors and years of publication of the publications requested. Others should order publications through www.EarthPrint.com.
Copies of many of our publications, and almost all recent publications, are available free of charge on the Web site either as Web pages or for download as PDF files.
Prices charged for Bioversity International publications help cover mailing costs and a part of the production costs, providing additional funds to support our efforts to disseminate information widely, especially in the developing world.
