Temporary Work

Objectives

Bioversity International employs temporary staff whose services are required for specific tasks and specific periods of time, ranging from a few days to no more than 11 months. The tasks or services required tend to be in the support staff areas of Bioversity’s operations and will be very specific.

General Conditions

No temporary employment can be extended beyond a continuing total period of 11 months. After 11 months any temporary employment has to be discontinued. The same employee cannot be recruited as temporary staff until a period of two months has elapsed.

If you are interested in being considered for temporary work, please apply online for any advertised temporary vacancies of your interest.

If you are interested in being included in the general Temporary Roster, please apply online to the most appropriate profile:

• Scientific
• Administration - Professional
• Administration - Support

Open applications received that are not in connection with an advertised vacancy will be retained on a temporary staffing roster for a maximum of 12 months. Bioversity International will only contact those applicants to whom it may be able to offer a temporary position.
