European Forestry Conference
The European Forest Genetic Resources Programme (EUFORGEN), hosted by Bioversity International, is one of the organizers of a week-long series of events in Vienna, Austria, focused on forest genetic resources. The meetings, which begin on Monday 13 September, include discussions of who owns forest genetic resources and the unveiling of a new information-sharing internet portal. Conservation of forest genetic resources, as part of the sustainable management of forests, will also be on the agenda.
