Bioversity International is shaking up the food system says Food Tank
Bioversity International was mentioned by the Food Tank: The Food Think Tank as one of the 40 organizations that are shaking up the food system. "Our hope is that the more people know about the work that these groups are doing, the more people can be inspired to make their own change in the food system," said the co-founders of the blog.

Vincent Johnson
Vincent joined Bioversity in April 2008 since when he has been working as the Process Manager and Science Editor for Bioversity’s Commodity Genetic Resources, Productivity and Value-Chains program in Montpellier, France. The program focuses on three ‘commodities’ of special importance to poor smallholders- banana and plantain (Musa), cocoa and coconut.
Fabrice DeClerck
Fabrice Declerck joined Bioversity in January 2012 to lead the Programme in Agroecological Intensification and Risk Management. Fabrice is a landscape and community ecologist whose primary research interests centre on the ecological mechanisms that drive the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem services in agricultural landscapes and how these mechanisms can be used to increase the livelihoods farming communities of developing countries.
