Bioversity International relies on the support of its supporters [1]to carry out its work. On behalf of our project collaborators and partners [2], we take this opportunity to thank our funders for their generous and continued support.
Providing more than just finances, our donors contribute global perspectives and knowledge on the use of agricultural biodiversity in smallholder farming communities. We have donor-supported projects [3] in more than 90 countries with over 300 research partners.
Bioversity International is supported in the UK by Bioversity International (UK) [4]. Our registered charity number is 1131854. We are also registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organisation in the US.
To further support our work and make even greater advances in our research programme, Bioversity has just launched an ambitious fundraising strategy aimed at widening and diversifying our funder base to create a more secure future for our partners and programmes.
