A fork in the road to Rio: Peru

Meet the Quechua farmers of the Potato Park in Peru, who are conserving 1345 varieties of local potatoes and have established a database with traditional associated knowledge supported by the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture. This is the fourth story in our 'Fork in the Road' series as part of our Rio+20 campaign  [2].
