You or your organization may be organizing seed fairs or food festivals. You may be setting up community seed banks or be engaged in participatory varietal evaluation, participatory plant breeding, recovering old crops or trying out new ones. Have you set up an agricultural biodiversity related self-help group or are you involved in any other of the many activities that are happening right now on the ground - practices that are key to supporting communities to cope better with climate change.
Given this wealth of experience, we believe that it will be useful to make more use of the Internet to exchange knowledge. We intend to make a start on this by collecting information through our survey “Who is doing what with agricultural biodiversity”. We will then use this information to identify needs and to try out new ways of sharing information using modern technology.
