What are RSS feeds?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are web files that summarize the latest content of a web page. The feeds usually contain headlines, article summaries and links to full articles.
RSS feeds are received and read using a feed reader or aggregator. Feed readers track the new items and display them for you to read on a daily or hourly basis.

How do I subscribe?

There are a number of feed readers available, which can either be web-based or downloadable programs to be installed on your computer. Both Google and Yahoo offer directories of RSS readers.
The reader you choose will have instructions for how to subscribe to RSS feeds; in general, you can subscribe by either clicking on one of the links, or by dragging or pasting the URL of the news feed into your reader.
