Bioversity International offers individual training for students and working professionals from both developed and developing countries. Our Research Fellowships target outstanding young scientists conducting research on issues relating to plant and forestry genetic resources.
We organize two fellowships every year: the Vavilov-Frankel Fellowship [1] and the Abdou-Salam Ouédraogo Fellowship [2], both of which aim to give hands-on experience in the arena of international agriculture research and increase the opportunity for fellows to publish results from their research. Research staff at Bioversity also facilitate partner applications and co-supervise research conducted via other fellowships and scholarship programmes [3].
