Bioversity's internship programme has three major objectives:

  • to offer young graduate or undergraduate students an opportunity to acquire direct practical experience in their field of specialization
  • to promote a better understanding of Bioversity and the CGIAR system
  • to provide groups at headquarters and in the regions with the assistance of outstanding young students specializing in fields relevant to Bioversity's activities.

Internships at Bioversity can be arranged on an individual basis or institutionally.

Interns work on key issues in agricultural biodiversity management which should be aligned with Bioversity’s research priorities.
