Internships

Bioversity International offers internships for students or recent graduates who wish to work on key issues in agricultural biodiversity management aligned with Bioversity’s research priorities.
There are two types of internship programmes available:
- Internships that can be arranged on an individual basis
- Internships that are organized institutionally
Our sponsored internship programmes with universities and research organizations include:
- Princeton University International Summer Internship
- Iowa State University – Global Dean's Food and Agriculture Leadership Program
- University of British Columbia - Biodiversity Research: Integrative Training and Education (BRITE) Internship Program
These internships have included projects such as:
- Support for preparations for the 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP10) in Nagoya, Japan from 19-28 October 2010
- Team project on the Mediterranean Diet in Italy - The Role of Green Leafy Vegetables
