Research Fellowships
Bioversity International collaborates with students and working professionals from both developed and developing countries for short-term field research. Bioversity's own Vavilov-Frankel Fellowship and Abdou-Salam Ouédraogo Fellowship target outstanding young scientists conducting research on issues relating to plant and forest genetic resources. We organize calls for these two fellowships every year. Both aim to give hands-on experience in the arena of international agricultural research and increase the opportunity for fellows to publish results from their research. Research staff at Bioversity also co-supervise research conducted via other fellowship schemes.
