Celebrating 40 years of agricultural biodiversity research

On June 26th 2014, Bioversity International reached a significant milestone – 40 years of operation as the world agricultural biodiversity research-for-development centre.  It also marked the start of a 12-month campaign to highlight our past achievements and to look ahead as we continue to deliver scientific evidence, management practices and policy options to use and safeguard agricultural biodiversity to attain sustainable global food and nutrition security.
