Associate Scientist

Alberto Cenci is currently involved in the expert annotation of banana genome sequencing, focusing on those gene families known to be involved in response to abiotic stresses.

From November 1999 to May 2003 Alberto was researcher at the University of Bari, Italy. From 2003 to 2008 he worked on wheat genetics at INRA in Montpellier, France. From 2008 to 2012 he worked on coffee genomics at IRD, Montpellier, France.
