Nancy Chaves, a Costarrican national, joined Bioversity International in 2009 as a research follow. She is working on biological control strategies for management Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense. She is also responsible for conservation of the endophytes collection. She gives support in all research activities, mainly with master students and interns.
