Sonal Dsouza is Senior Project Officer based at New Delhi. She provides administrative and technical support to the UN Environment implemented GEF Project ‘Mainstreaming agricultural biodiversity conservation and utilization in agricultural sector to ensure ecosystem services and reduce vulnerability’.
Sonal joined Bioversity International in 2014 as Communication and Programme Assistant and was responsible for communications for the India office and also provided administrative and logistical support to all the projects. Prior to joining Bioversity, she worked as an English Language Secondary School Teacher with Delhi Public School, New Delhi for twelve years where she held additional responsibilities of a Language Coordinator and was in charge of publications. She has been a resource person for various workshops and has also anchored significant national and global programmes for organisations like APAARI.
