Loredana is a Programme Assistant and provides administrative and logistical support to the Bioversity International Initiative on Farms, forests and landscapes, assisting the Initiative Manager and the team with scheduling their activities, e.g. organizing international travels, meetings and making arrangements for and receiving visitors, assembling, editing and translating documents for internal and external use, archiving and document disposal and preparation of letters of agreements.
Before joining Bioversity International, Loredana worked at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as an intern at the Public Information Unit where she mainly dealt with daily paper and online press review of national and international migration issues for internal and external use, assisting and scheduling of meetings and events such as World Refugee Day.
Loredana also worked in Ecuador as a teacher of Italian as a foreign language, collaborated with the Centro Servizi Immigrazione for the Province of Rome and worked as a translator for different associations and organizations.
