The Bioversity International Library
The Bioversity International Library, found at our HQ in Rome, holds over 6000 documents relating to the role that on-farm and wild agricultural and forest biodiversity can play in a more nutritious, resilient, productive and adaptable food and agricultural system.
Highlights
Open Access at Bioversity International
The CGIAR Open Access and Data Management Policy was approved by the CGIAR Consortium Board in October 2013. What this means is that any research outputs published or developed by CGIAR centres will be required to be open access from this date forward.

Herbarium Project
In 2012, Bioversity International has established within its premises a physical herbarium and related database of the local flora of interest for Food, Forest and Agriculture. About 200 species have been collected and mounted so far.
