Bioversity International works around many partners around the world including research institutes, universities, development agencies, government departments, community-based organizations and the private sector.
In the countries where we work, we are expanding partnerships to include local, national and global agri-food value chain actors, timber concessionaries and conservation organizations. We are working through key partnerships to integrate agricultural biodiversity into research, development and education programmes.
We are a member of the CGIAR Consortium - a global partnership for a food-secure future funded by CGIAR Fund Donors. Within CGIAR, we work on 9 cross-cutting global research programmes including climate change, nutrition and forests.
We also work in close partnership with the United Nations Rome-based organizations: Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Programme.
